Which area do you specialise in?

Medical Communications & Medical Education - roles include Medical Writers, Account Managers, Project Coordinators and Editoral Assistants. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Attending events and meeting candidates and clients is a fantastic way of engaging with my sector and really getting to know people, companies and their motivations. This, alongside keeping up-to-date with MedComms Networking and PMLive articles. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm not the biggest of movie buffs but one of my favourites is Lars Von Trier's 'Dancer in the Dark'. It stars Bjork and I'm quite a big Bjork fan!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I would invent a mode of transport which is, essentially, a large rollercoaster. It would make my commute to work that bit more enjoyable.

I try not to make assumptions on people and get to know everyone on an individual basis.

Graphic Designer - Medical Communications Agency - Up to £35k DOE

 

The Company

My client is a dynamic, forward-thinking and friendly agency going from strength to strength. The agency has grown steadily over the past 12 years, providing to their international clients a full range of medical communications. They are now looking to develop their digital offering, providing increased interactivity to medical information

  • Independent Medical Communications agency
  • Therapy area projects including Oncology, Haemostasis, Diabetes and Alzheimer's

  • Newly converted, modern and spacious Macclesfield-centre offices

  • Friendly, flexible and nurturing culture - MD still involved with day to day projects

 

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Projects including print design, websites and apps

  • Applying design in line with client brief and brand guidelines

  • Implementation of UX and UI initiativesInternal brandings projects, including web, adverts and local events

 

You

The Agency is looking for:

  • 2 years' experience in a graphic design role

  • Experience within the Healthcare sector is a plus

  • Experience in Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).

  • UX and UI Design software experience (Balsamiq, Azure, UXPin) would be a plus
