Trackable GPS microchips for cats and dogs - how has this not been invented yet!?


The Role

Account Director - Healthcare division of communications agency - Manchester - £45k-£50k + excellent benefits.

An excellent opportunity to motivate, lead and develop a small client services team within a creative and inspirational agency.

The Role

Reporting into the Client Services Director, as Account Director you will be responsible for:

  • Your own key accounts, building these client relationships and effectively managing projects ensuring delivery of the highest standards

  • Developing growth with existing clients by identifying opportunities to promote the full range of services on offer, and having awareness of new business opportunities

  • Leading and inspiring your own team of Account Managers, including training and mentoring

  • Developing clear strategic business plans for your key accounts



In order to make a successful application to the Account Director role, you will be able to hit the ground running and therefore able to demonstrate:

  • Substantial experience in a similar role within an agency environment, including some healthcare or pharma experience

  • Successful track record of managing client accounts, on a national and international basis ideally

  • Strong project management skills, managing strict deadlines and budgets

  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire your own team

  • Success in new business and organic existing business growth
