A chocolate-making machine that would be a normal household object to be used daily, like a toaster.

The Role

CME Project Manager - CME Programmes - central Manchester, £25k - £32k

This Project Manager vacancy is with an accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) provider in central Manchester. These CME programmes facilitate learning and the continued professional development of Healthcare professionals across the industry.


The Company

Based in central Manchester, 5 minutes' walk from Piccadilly train station, this company design, develop and deliver CME accredited programmes with measured outcomes, to enhance knowledge and improve clinical practice within the healthcare industry.

  • Respond to RFP's to secure independent funding for medical education activities.

  • Support leading medical experts with the development and delivery of high-quality, effective, accurate and un-bias scientific content.

  • Advise medical experts to ensure their delivery of educational content follows CME good practice procedures.

  • Ensure CME compliance standards are met


The Role

A Project Manager with an interest in education, healthcare, pharma, biomedical science or educational design will be an ideal candidate for this role. You will have a lot of autonomy and ownership over your projects, with the support and guidance of the wider team.

  • Ensure projects run smoothly, to schedule, keeping people informed of progress, and manage external suppliers.

  • Internal budget management, cost estimation, financial reporting and scheduling.

  • Project traffic control

  • Project closure including the capture of lessons learnt

  • Managing 3rd party contractors

  • Database management

  • CME Accreditation management - training will be provided!



A passionate self-starter with drive and ambition, able to work independently as well as contributing to a wider team.

  • Strong project management skills ideally including project planning and development, creation of cost estimates, logistics management and financial management.

  • A genuine interest in working in a CME team, with any knowledge of educational design a bonus!

  • Database skills and an understanding of the principals of good data management.

  • Comfortable working in a small, cohesive team with a flat hierarchy.

  • Autonomous, independent thinker, able to self-manage.
