I'm not a big film watcher at all. I last saw The Inbetweeners at the cinema and that was hilarious!
If you could invent one thing what would it be?
Teleportation! I would teleport to the beach in Fiji for an hour on my lunch break, teleport back home to my parent's house for dinner every night and go elephant trekking, skiing or on safari just for the weekend.
What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
I lived in Spain for a year and worked for a summer in Gibraltar and learnt to speak Spanglish.

The Role

Strategic Account Manager, Service Provider into Pharma, Manchester, £Competitive

 

The Company

Our client is a laboratory that specialise in the analysis of pharmaceuticals. They are a fast-growing company with a culture to promote from within. They are looking for a new member of their sales team to promote their analysis service into pharmaceutical companies. This role is vacant as the current Strategic Account Manager has been promoted to head up the team.

 

The Role

  • You will spend around 60-70% of your time working from the Manchester office focused on business development, account management and networking as well as showing customers the lab facilities and holding in-house meetings with your clients.

  • You will spend the other 30-40% of your time out on the road, pitching the business, at client meetings or at exhibitions.

  • You will join a high achieving team, specialising in promoting one specific area of analysis, so you will become a technical expert in this area!

 

You

  • You MUST have a science degree, ideally in Chemistry and any laboratory experience is a huge advantage for you to quickly pick up the highly technical service you are promoting.

  • You will have at least two years of experience in business to business sales, pharmaceutical or medical device sales or experience promoting a service into pharma or the NHS.

  • You will be positive and motivated by working to targets and closing a deal.
