If you could invent one thing what would it be?
Teleportation! I would teleport to the beach in Fiji for an hour on my lunch break, teleport back home to my parent's house for dinner every night and go elephant trekking, skiing or on safari just for the weekend.
What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
I lived in Spain for a year and worked for a summer in Gibraltar and learnt to speak Spanglish.

The Role

Regional Account Manager (1st line management customer facing), Global Pharma Company, Manchester, Highly Competitive Financial Package

 

The Company

We are recruiting for a Global Pharma Company with specialties in Oncology and Cardiology. They are a hugely innovative and driven company with an open culture where you can implement your own ideas and truly make a difference! This vacancy is an expansion due to success of the current team.

You will promote a product with fantastic clinical data and great value proposition, as well as managing a small highly capable team. There is a requirement for a passionate, driven and talented Healthcare Development Manager or Key Account Manager with managerial experience or a customer facing Regional Business Manager who want to take on a new challenge!

 

The Role

Within this role you will be responsible for:

  • Anticipating access barriers, getting preferential status, formulary inclusion and ensuring optimal funding of the client's product.

  • Identifying the changing needs of the payors and identifying and shaping multi-stakeholder projects.

  • Driving sales for a life changing product with growing support in a competitive arena.

  • Line managing a team of Hospital Specialists.

  • Leading on business planning for Manchester.

 

You

To be considered for this senior role, you will:

  • Be an experienced Healthcare Development Manager/Key Account Manager or Regional Business Manager. And you must have line management experience.

  • Have exceptional planning skills on a regional level.

  • Have a complete understanding of the prescribing process and the principles of strategic account management looking at both immediate and long terms objectives.

  • Have strong business management and be able to formulate account plans and be able to demonstrate when you have work with Payors, CCGs, Medicines Management and other external influencers.

  • Ideally have product launch experience.

  • Ideally have Cardiovascular experience.
