Which team do you work in?

I work within the Drug Development team.

Which area do you specialise in?

I recruit for roles within the Medical Affairs & Medical Information sector.

How do you keep up to date with the issues in your sector?

Speaking with candidates and clients daily keeps me updated on any industry changes or news and getting involved in LinkedIn groups as well as reading any news articles.

What’s your favourite film and why?

This is a hard one as there is so many to pick but I think it would have to be Love Actually, it never gets old and has it all - humour, love and is a little bit of a tear jerker.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

If I could invent one thing it would be a machine that you could step into that would get your ready in minutes and would have loads of clothes and make up options to choose from.

What makes you distinctly different?

I used to work on a cruise ship and was able to visit the most amazing countries and meet people from all over the world, which I would not have met or went to if it was not for this opportunity. It also teaches you to work with a diverse group of people and have build great friendships from this.

The Company

Carrot Pharma are recruiting for a Medical Affairs Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Global Pharmaceutical Company who are still privately owned and have a World Class reputation for developing market leading products within a multitude of therapy areas.


The Role

As the Medical Affairs Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that when processing Medical Information enquiries PV requirements are met.

  • Confident in your ability to handle customer queries over the telephone as well as offering great customer service

  • You will work closely with the Marketing team to review promotional and non-promotional material ensuring that they are compliant to the ABPI Code of Practice and internal processes.

  • Supporting the MSL and Sales teams with queries and deliver training when required.

  • Maintain therapy area and product knowledge by attending networking events and educational meetings.



Ideally you will have:

  • Life Science degree or UK Registered Pharmacist.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous experience in respiratory or neonatology is beneficial.

  • Experience within a Medical Information role is preferred.
