I work within the Drug Development team.

Which area do you specialise in?

I recruit for roles within the Medical Affairs & Medical Information sector.

How do you keep up to date with the issues in your sector?

Speaking with candidates and clients daily keeps me updated on any industry changes or news and getting involved in LinkedIn groups as well as reading any news articles.

What’s your favourite film and why?

This is a hard one as there is so many to pick but I think it would have to be Love Actually, it never gets old and has it all - humour, love and is a little bit of a tear jerker.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

If I could invent one thing it would be a machine that you could step into that would get your ready in minutes and would have loads of clothes and make up options to choose from.

What makes you distinctly different?

I used to work on a cruise ship and was able to visit the most amazing countries and meet people from all over the world, which I would not have met or went to if it was not for this opportunity. It also teaches you to work with a diverse group of people and have build great friendships from this.

The Company

Carrot Pharma are recruiting for an experienced Medical Science Liaison who has a background in Oncology or Rheumatology to join a World Class Pharmaceutical Company, that has a fantastic reputation for bringing to market innovative products within niche therapy area.


The Role

As the Medical Science Liaison, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining long term professional relationships with Investigators, HCP's and KOL's.

  • Providing scientific and therapy area support to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Delivering presentations on scientific matters to healthcare professionals and KOL's, this being in large groups and to individuals.

  • Ensure that there is a strong medical and scientific presence for the company by attending conferences and meetings.

  • Provide support to the Sales and Marketing team with regards to the ABPI Code of Practice and internal SOP's. Ensuring that these are being adhered to at all times.



In order to be considered for the role of Medical Science Liaison, you MUST have:

  • Prior MSL experience (at least 1 year as a minimum).

  • Therapy area background in Oncology or Rheumatology.

  • PhD or Life Science Degree.

  • Able to travel and must have a clean full UK Driving License.
