The Role

Medical Writer, all levels considered - Medical Communications Agency - Oxford - £Negotiable

Award-winning, highly recognised, long standing healthcare communications agency are expanding due to a positive start to 2019, and have requirements for a strong Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer or Principal Medical Writer to play an integral role in the Editorial team.


The Company

  • Work across various therapy areas including rare diseases and diabetes, and across a huge variety of deliverables including congresses, in-person and virtual meetings, podcasts, news pieces, online training, communications strategy, publications and more

  • Have specialist teams in each area including a digital team working on fast paced projects

  • Have long standing client relationships, working some major pharma and healthcare companies

  • Easily commutable by train or car, with onsite parking

The Role

As a Medical Writer, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high quality written communications on behalf of your clients

  • Work closely with other internal teams including client services and the project team

  • Liaising with clients and external authors when required



To be considered for this Medical Writer role, you will be ambitious and driven, and be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience working as a Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer or Principal Medical Writer within a medical communications environment (essential)

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Great time management skills

  • Life sciences degree as a minimum, MSc or PhD ideally
