I work within the Drug Development team.

Which area do you specialise in?

I recruit for roles within the Medical Affairs & Medical Information sector.

How do you keep up to date with the issues in your sector?

Speaking with candidates and clients daily keeps me updated on any industry changes or news and getting involved in LinkedIn groups as well as reading any news articles.

What’s your favourite film and why?

This is a hard one as there is so many to pick but I think it would have to be Love Actually, it never gets old and has it all - humour, love and is a little bit of a tear jerker.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

If I could invent one thing it would be a machine that you could step into that would get your ready in minutes and would have loads of clothes and make up options to choose from.

What makes you distinctly different?

I used to work on a cruise ship and was able to visit the most amazing countries and meet people from all over the world, which I would not have met or went to if it was not for this opportunity. It also teaches you to work with a diverse group of people and have build great friendships from this.

The Role

This a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to progress and move into a line management position within promotional affairs. As the Promotional Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • The line management of 3 team members which includes 1 Senior Promotional Affairs Advisor and 2 Promotional Affairs Advisors. You will be responsible for the training and development of each team member.
  • You will provide brand support for final signatory approval for promotional and non-promotional materials.
  • Provide insight into medical compliance and procedures during company meetings.
  • Ensure that all medical materials and activities are compliant with ABPI Code of Practice at all times.
  • Develop and implement compliance training for internal teams such as the Sales and Marketing teams.

 

You

As the Promotional Affairs Manager, you must be:

  • UK Registered Pharmacist/Medic
  • Final Signatory status
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to mentor and support a team
