How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?
I keep up to date with issues in my sector by staying well networked. Our team holds yearly networking events which gives us all a chance to meet with candidate and clients. I also read industry articles and stay well networked on LinkedIn. I think it really helps that I have good relationships with the clients and candidates I work with!

What's your favourite film and why?
My favourite film has to be all the Matrix films! I love all the martial arts scenes and special effects. I've recently watched the Kill Bill films too, so they're also up there with my favourites!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
I'd invent a machine that makes me unlimited money.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
What makes me distinctly different is that I make sure I understand the motivations of people moving jobs. Understanding motivations can sometimes open up opportunities people hadn't previously thought of.

Quantitative Research Manager, £35k - £45k DOE - Central London

They offer the full spectrum of research methodologies and survey techniques, from the traditional to the innovative, both in Italy and abroad, through partnerships with independent institutes selected for their expertise in the medical-pharmaceutical industry.This company offers:

The Role

Our client has been growing year upon year and as a result they now have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced, ambitious, Quantiative Research Manager to join their UK office! The successful candidate will:

  • Manage research projects, from scoping through to completion, closely working with the internal team and client;

  • Work with directors to win new work from new and existing clients and proactively identify new business opportunities both in terms of research services and pharmaceutical markets;

  • Plan and manage resources effectively;

  • Undertake and oversee the design and development of quantitative research materials;

  • Produce insightful research reports with sophisticated and actionable advice to support your clients in their decision-making;

  • Ensure that both client and internal expectations are aligned and fulfilled on all projects for which you are responsible;

  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal team members;

  • Ensure that the company is up to date with relevant regulations, guidelines and legislations.



The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 years' experience within Quantitative research

  • Experience within the pharma / healthcare sector

  • Expertise across various market research methodologies

  • Management experience (will also consider someone who is maybe looking to gain management experience)
