The Role

Research Executive - innovative market research agency - Central Manchester- Up to £23k DOE

Research Executive role for a leading market research agency who covers the consumer and pharma sector. You will need some experience of working in a similar position but you there will be full training provided.


The Company

A very innovative and forward-thinking market research agency who are currently looking for a new researcher to join their team. My client is based in a fantastic building in the centre of Manchester. The environment is that of a company that works collaboratively. They encourage you to take a break for some mindfulness or and have rooms that are set up for this and allow you to enjoy some quiet time.

The Role

You will be joining a team filled with experienced researchers. This position will be working solely on consumer research projects and you will learn all of the elements of what a research project looks like and over time you will take on more and more responsibility within the role until you are ready to progress up to a more senior position.

  • Working on large consumer market research projects with some top global brands

  • Your day to day will be fast paced and ever changing as you will have involvement with proposal writing, questionnaire/ discussion guide design, managing fieldwork vendors, analysis and reporting your findings back to clients.

  • This role is integral in offering your clients some integral insight into how their customers think, act and feel with regards to their brand.



This Research Executive role would be a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with some research experience. It could be that you worked on an internship or placement at university, that gave you an insight into a market research position. Or, you may be a research executive at present and feel like you could do more in your role and would like to move to an organisation with some fresh opportunities for you. It doesn't really matter the sector that you gained experience within but having a passion for large consumer brands and technology is key.

  • At least 6 months' experience of working within a market research role ideally for a consumer market research agency.

  • An understanding of what a market research project looks like

  • A passion for market research and a desire to build a career within the sector.
