The Role

Scientific Project Assistant - Healthcare Communications Agency - Cheshire - £Competitive DoE Opportunities like this don't come along very often! Due to continued growth and internal promotions this well-respected agency is looking to take on 2 entry level candidates who are keen to forge a long-term career within medical communications. The ideal candidate would be a PhD or MSc graduate in the biological sciences, have an extremely high standard of written communication and have a keen interest in the pharmaceutical industry.

The Role

The client is looking to take on 2 entry level candidates for 2 different roles. These are:

  • Scientific Project Assistant: this hybrid role will involve a mix of providing project related support to the account teams and assisting the editorial team in the development of scientific content.
  • Scientific Data Assistant: this will again be a hybrid role which involves assisting both the client services and editorial teams. These roles are fantastic for entry level candidates as they will provide a 360-degree view of how a med comms agency operates.


To apply for any of these entry level med comms opportunities, our client is hoping for the following skills and experiences:

  • An MSc or BSc in the biological sciences.
  • All positions will require the completion of a written test- so an extremely high standard of written accuracy will be required.
  • A keen interest in both med comms and the wider pharma industry.
  • A driven individual who is confident meeting tight deadlines.
  • Personable and a strong communicator, with the capability to work both independently and as part of a successful team.
