The Role

Product Specialist- Stoma, National Medical Devices Company, Scotland & North England, Competitive Salary


The Company

Our client is a National Medical Devices Company established over 35 years ago have an exciting opening in their Stoma Product Specialist Team who would be responsible for a territory encompassing Scotland, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, Shetland Isles and Cumbria.


The Role

Promote and increase usage of client's stoma product range through all Hospital and Community outlets, Wholesalers, Appliance Houses and Voluntary Associations within your defined territory, Scotland & North England (Scotland, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, Shetland Isles and Cumbria).

  • Track expenditure in budget areas defined by your line manager, ensure that budget given is not exceeded.

  • Establish key accounts and cultivate extremely strong relationships with Nurses, Practice/District Nurses, Tissue Viability Nurses and Consultants.

  • Work with Procurement and at senior Trust level to identify cost savings that can be made through use of the company's home delivery facility.



As a Stoma Product Specialist, our client is looking for:

  • Experience of working in the stoma care market is essential for this role.

  • Past experience dealing with the NHS, Hospitals and community, including procurement, pharmacy and key decision makers

  • A successful candidate must live on territory.

  • A nursing background would be desirable.
