The Role

Principal Statistical Programmer - CRO - Homebased / Cheshire / Scotland / Hertfordshire- £75k

The role will involve the 80% hands on Programming which is incredibly rare at this level alongside a team of very experienced specialists you can learn from every day. The Role

A Senior role in an established team.

  • Providing advanced technical expertise in conjunction with internal and external clients

  • Acting as statistical team lead for single complex studies or groups of studies (Depending on level)

  • Performing the programming, testing and documentation of statistical programs

  • Creation of statistical tables, figures, and listing

  • Programming of derived datasets and transfer files



  • Experienced SAS Programmer with 4 years clinical experience

  • Expert knowledge of statistical computing applications SAS 8.2 or SAS 9.1 in Base SAS, SAS/STAT and SAS Macro Language

  • Minimum 5 years CRO or Pharmaceutical experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or related field

  • Proficient in the use of CDISC, SDTM and ADaM with both paper and electronic CTD submission

  • Good written and spoken English
