Senior Market Access Consultant - Expanding Consultancy - Oxford - £60k - £70k + Benefits.


The Company

This company is an young, ambitious and innovative Market Access Consultancy with multiple UK offices and an emphasis on providing quality Value Communications, Pricing & Reimbursement, HEOR and HTA Submissions knowledge to a range of clients within a broad range of therapy areas. Whilst the business is still relatively young and developing there are some very knowledgeable and experienced Market Access, Value Communications and HEOR Directors already on board so you would benefit from some true Market Access expertise throughout your career!


The Role

My client has an opening for a Senior Market Access Consultant focussing on Market Access & Value Communications to join their already established Oxford office. Working alongside a growing team of Health Economists and Market Access Consultants you will be responsible for a range of activities across UK, EU & Global Regions covering Pricing & Reimbursement Strategies and Market Access Strategies for HTA Submissions as well as working with Market Access Writers and Health Economists.



It's important that you have a strong writing background within Market Access & Value Communications materials and that you have a demonstratable understanding of UK, EU5 or Global Markets. This doesn't have to be within any specific therapy areas. This should be focussed with the following background:

  • A strong Market Access background either within Pharma / Consulting.
  • A strong track record across UK, EU5 or Global Market Access Strategic Consulting.
  • A good understanding of Market Access Pricing & Reimbursement Landscapes across the UK / Europe and an understanding of Cost Effectiveness & Budget Impact Models across various regions.
  • Ideally, a minimum of a MSc or PhD within a Lifesciences Subject.

Without doubt the amount of and potential use of Real-World Data & Real-World Evidence is leading to a lot of companies investing heavily in the hope of utilising this data. This is leading to huge advancements in Healthcare Technology in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms which will dramatically alter Healthcare over the coming years.

This is alongside Pharma companies working with various country specific regulators to combat an ever-ageing population, increased demands on national budgets and the need for increased collaboration across local and regional levels.
