Senior Medical Writer - Medical Affairs and Strategy - Medical Communications - West Sussex - £Competitive

A highly respected company are looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer or Principal Medical Writer to help lead and support their successful Editorial Team specialising in medical affairs and medical strategy.

The Role

As the Senior Medical Writer or Principal Medical Writer, you will be working across a couple of accounts and be responsible for:

  • Contributing towards scientific strategy development

  • Developing high quality scientifically accurate content, meeting client brief

  • Working across a variety of projects

  • Working alongside the accounts team, communicating with clients from an editorial perspective

  • Maintaining knowledge of your assigned therapy areas



We will consider candidates with a minimum of 18 months agency experience, however ideally we are looking for candidates with a number of years' experience, currently working as a Senior Medical Writer or Principal Medical Writer and therefore able to demonstrate:

  • Medical communications agency experience

  • A life sciences qualification, ideally MSc or PhD

  • Excellent attention to deal and impeccable writing skills

  • The ability to effectively communicate with clients from an editorial and scientific perspective
