The Role

Senior Research Executive / Research Manager, Hampshire, £35k - £45K

 

The Company

Experienced SRE / RM wanted for a boutique consultancy based in Fleet. This company is part of a larger organisation specialising within insight led healthcare communications! Due to the success and steady growth the insight team have created its own consultancy and so they are now looking to make some strategic hires to help grow and deliver the research programmes they have in place!

  • The comms team was established in 2011 and now have a team of 30! (You will work be working in collaboration with comms! (Chance to work on different projects!)

  • They Work with national and international pharmaceutical companies to deliver effective and impactful Insight programmes

  • Specialists within patient behaviour research

  • Vibrant, modern offices 30 minutes train journey out of Clapham Junction on the Surrey / Berkshire border

  • Cohesive, friendly and supportive team who work hard but enjoy a good laugh along the way!

 

The Role

Due to the successful launch of the Consulting side of the business our client is now looking to bring on board someone at either SRE or Research Manager level. You will:

  • Contribute to business development activities and input / write proposals

  • Take ownership / oversee the development of materials - screeners, questionnaires and discussion guides

  • Ensure that all insights projects are delivered to the highest quality standards, within budget and exceeding clients' expectations

  • Take accountability for client accounts and projects, including building and maintaining optimum client relations, and meeting financial targets

 

You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a strong background in adhoc, pharmaceutical market research - ideally from an agency setting (minimum 2 years)

  • Expertise within qualitative research - expertise within online and digital approaches will be a bonus

  • Strong written, presentation and communication skills

  • Have experience of developing research materials and stimulus

  • Ideally have moderating experience (training can be provided) - Face to face and focus groups

I keep up to date with issues in my sector by staying well networked. Our team holds yearly networking events which gives us all a chance to meet with candidate and clients. I also read industry articles and stay well networked on LinkedIn. I think it really helps that I have good relationships with the clients and candidates I work with!

What's your favourite film and why?
My favourite film has to be all the Matrix films! I love all the martial arts scenes and special effects. I've recently watched the Kill Bill films too, so they're also up there with my favourites!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
I'd invent a machine that makes me unlimited money.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
What makes me distinctly different is that I make sure I understand the motivations of people moving jobs. Understanding motivations can sometimes open up opportunities people hadn't previously thought of.
