How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

The Role

  • As account manager, you will be responsible for the tactical delivery of projects and managing client accounts.

  • As this a small agency, you will have a number of key responsibilities and play a vital role in helping the company continue to offer a fantastic service.

  • Project management from brief through to delivery including client liaison, management of budgets and constant communication between creative and tech teams.

  • Working alongside the account director and creative team to ensure of accurate project financials.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow existing accounts.

  • Assisting with the continued development and nurturing of junior members of staff.



  • You will have a background in healthcare communications and experience of working in an account management role within an agency environment.

  • You will have a solid understanding and real passion for health-related communications.

  • You will be confident in taking a lead role in terms of understanding a client's needs and objectives to assist with marketing strategies.

  • You will be a team player with fantastic written and verbal communication skills.

  • You will have the drive and desire to make a difference in healthcare communications.
