Which team do you work in?
I work in the Market Research and Business Intelligence team.

Which area do you specialise in?

I specialise in senior market research roles, working with a variety of PMR agencies and consultancies. I also work with our pharma company clients, covering market insight/business intelligence positions.

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

With a well established network of clients and candidates, keeping up to date with industry news is usually quite straightforward! Alongside speaking to those directly involved in the industry, I spend time browsing relevant industry websites and reading articles on LinkedIn

What's your favourite film and why?
I would probably say either the Batman Dark Knight trilogy or the Bourne Films. I think Christopher Nolan's a great director and I really like the premise of the Bourne films - I love a good conspiracy theory!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
Maybe Bernard's Watch...?

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

Exciting client side opportunity for a Sales Force Effectiveness Manager!


The Company

Our client is a world leading specialist pharma company, focusing on dermatologic and thromboembolic conditions. They combine innovative treatments in order to combat the physical and emotional challenges that people face when living with serious and chronic conditions. They currently operate in 61 countries and their products are sold in over 100 countries worldwide


The Role

As a result of business growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales Force Effectiveness Manager to join the team's UK offices based in Berkshire. Partnering with the Commercial Excellence Director and Sales Teams you will be responsible for providing high quality analytical insight and recommendations to ensure maximum return from salesforce investment.

You will also be required to develop and run highly motivating salesforce incentive schemes, conduct customer segmentation and targeting, manage relationships with third party suppliers and carry out analysis to support field force sizing and optimisation decisions.



In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working within SFE for a pharmaceutical company or equivalent experience gained with an agency

  • Strong communication and influencing skills - you will be expected to liaise directly with sales and brand teams

  • Proven project management experience

  • A high level of computer literacy including knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Veeva but this is not a prerequisite for the position)

  • In-depth knowledge of knowledge of the development of programmes including territory design, alignment and segmentation and targeting
