How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Medical Editor - Healthcare Advertising Agency - Berkshire - £25k

The Role

The medical editor position will support a team of copywriters in creating a range of communications for HCPs and patients. The role will involve a mix of medical writing and editing and will sit as part of a vibrant and award-winning creative team.

  • Write HCP-facing materials with guidance from copy and creative teams.
  • Work on existing projects to produce patient-facing materials in line with current copy.
  • Liaise with clients and ensure amendments are made in a timely manner.
  • Proofread and edit key materials before the agency submits to clients for review

 

You

You will have a passion for health-related communications and have experience of working within a similar setting.

  • Educated to degree level in a life science subject.
  • A keen eye for detail and sound proof reading and editing skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A high level of proficiency in standard software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
