Which team do you work in?

Market Access, Health Economics & Value Comms 

Which area do you specialise in?

I specialise in mid to senior level appointments across all disciplines within the Market Access / HEOR field. I manage roles both on the permanent and interim basis. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

First and foremost, we are kept up to date by speaking day in, day out to candidates and clients alike - information from an internal perspective is highly valuable to us in terms of gauging how best to approach resourcing. Reading industry press and engaging in online discussions certainly keeps us on top of wider topics. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I have many favourite films: Home Alone at Christmas time, any James Bond films (especially Skyfall) for a bit of action but, ultimately, I LOVE How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Maybe not the best film ever but one that reminds me of really good times with all my best friends. 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I have yet to find anything that keeps my young daughter still and engaged for over 5 minutes, so my invention would be a remote control-style device that allows me to pause her in time - allowing me to make and enjoyably drink a full cup of tea with no distractions!

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

One of my little fingers is 7mm shorter than the other!

In position as Outcomes Research Manager, you will be part of a small team dedicated to UK HEOR who also support the wider European and Global teams within the Outcomes function. This Pharma company also offer:

The Role

In position as Outcomes Research Manager you will:

  • Source, interpret, generate and distribute Outcomes Research for internal and external customers on therapeutic areas or products and support production submissions to bodies such as NICE and the SMC

  • Shape the development of protocol derived from the global HEOR teams to align with UK requirements.

  • Lead, design and manage outcomes related studies commissioned by UK affiliate

  • Develop and deliver epidemiological studies, including literature reviews

  • Execute plans to collect patient QoL data (utility studies and embedded instruments)

  • Lead on systematic reviews and meta-analysis as required

  • Create publication and distribution strategy for outcomes data

 

You

To ensure a successful application to the Outcomes Research role, we are seeking previous experience:

  • Working within a Health Economics, Outcomes Research or Real World capacity within a Pharma or related Consultancy environment

  • Successfully managing stakeholders at all level

  • In working collaboratively across internal matrix functions

  • Strong and demonstrated project management capability

  • You will also have a related Science/Healthcare degree or post graduate qualification ideally within the Outcomes Research, Health Economics or Market Access fields.
