I work within the Drug Development team.

Which area do you specialise in?

I recruit for roles within the Medical Affairs & Medical Information sector.

How do you keep up to date with the issues in your sector?

Speaking with candidates and clients daily keeps me updated on any industry changes or news and getting involved in LinkedIn groups as well as reading any news articles.

What’s your favourite film and why?

This is a hard one as there is so many to pick but I think it would have to be Love Actually, it never gets old and has it all - humour, love and is a little bit of a tear jerker.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

If I could invent one thing it would be a machine that you could step into that would get your ready in minutes and would have loads of clothes and make up options to choose from.

What makes you distinctly different?

I used to work on a cruise ship and was able to visit the most amazing countries and meet people from all over the world, which I would not have met or went to if it was not for this opportunity. It also teaches you to work with a diverse group of people and have build great friendships from this.

Medical Lead specialising in Respiratory, Global Pharma Company, Berkshire, Excellent salary and benefits package


The Company

Carrot Pharma are recruiting for a Medical Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Global Pharma company who have a number of market leading products, you will be working on their Respiratory portfolio. They are looking for a candidate with strong experience within Medical Affairs and who has Final Signatory status.


The Role

As the Medical Lead you will be responsible for:

  • The direct line management of the Medical Affairs team including, 2 Medical Advisors, MSL Team Leader along with overseeing the management of 5 MSLs.

  • You will provide continual mentoring and training to the medical affairs team and therapy area insight.

  • Oversee the launch of a new product, ensuring that all the Marketing and Medical Education materials are compliant with the ABPI Code of Practice.

  • You will be responsible for the reviewing of medical materials and act as the main final signatory sign off for the team.

  • Work closely with Global and EMEA Medical Affairs, Medical Education and Marketing to ensure free flow of information and ideas between teams to ensure objectives are aligned.



To be considered for the Medical Lead role you must have the following:

  • Must be GMC Registered/UK Registered Pharmacist

  • Final Signatory status

  • Full UK driving licences

  • Strong Knowledge of UK NHS and Pharma industry
