A chocolate-making machine that would be a normal household object to be used daily, like a toaster.

The Role

Joining this world class CRO as an Associate Medical Director, you will be the scientific and clinical expert who leads the development of forward-thinking, high quality scientific and strategic medical communications programmes and services.

  • A highly collaborative role working in a global multidisciplinary team with colleagues specialising in medical affairs, commercialisation, market access and real world insights.

  • Work across a range of med comms offerings including medical affairs and education (scientific publications, advisory boards, educational symposia, exhibition materials, market access materials, education and training aids, MSL support, medical information), pitch presentations, promotional and patient support initiatives.

  • Lead meetings with relevant stakeholders, presenting scientific and clinical concepts.

  • Development and facilitation of workshops and expert advisory meetings.



An experienced Medical Communications professional with high level medical writing and strategy experience.

  • Comfortable developing a range of solutions across market access, publication planning, meetings and events, patient support and promotional materials.

  • Provide direction to the medical writing team and monitor outputs ensuring quality, compliance, appropriateness and profitability.

  • Can coach and train team members.

  • Can cultivate strong, long-term relationships with internal and external clients and key decision-makers.

  • Likely to be a scientific director, scientific lead, scientific advisor or principal medical writer keen to broaden their experience.
