The Role

Reporting into the company Director, as the Account Director you will work in a highly autonomous role responsible for:

  • Managing and Directing 50% of the company's projects
  • Working on a range of deliverables including medical education meetings, advisory boards, patient materials, scientific slide decks, animations, sales materials (printed & digital), e-details
  • Working across a variety of therapy areas including: Epilepsy, Haemophilia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Travel Vaccines, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Respiratory, Female Healthcare, Dermatology, Pain Management, Lysosomal Disorders, Ophthalmology and Osteoarthritis
  • Being the point of contact for clients on your accounts
  • Ensuring all projects are completed to the best standard within the agreed budget and timescale
  • Line managing your team of Account Executives and Account Managers



To be considered for this Medical Communications Account Director vacancy you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Life sciences degree as a minimum
  • Experience working as an Account Director within a medical / healthcare communications agency
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience being the point of contact for clients
  • Understanding of medical writing practices
  • Either line management or mentoring experience
