How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

By being in regular contact with candidates and clients within my sector and attending networking events is invaluable in staying up-to-date. Also PMLive, BBC Health and LinkedIn are key tools. Because of my background studying science I have a keen interest in staying informed and up-to-date with any advancements in the sector.

What's your favourite film and why?

Pulp Fiction! It's Tarantino at his best. Great cast, great soundtrack and a great storyline which keeps you on your toes with its intertwining arcs. It's rightfully a cult classic.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

A teleportation device. In would enable me to visit incredible locations around the world without having to deal with the hassle of long haul flights. So many amazing places to visit, so little time!

Advertising Account Manager - Leading Brand Communications Agency - Berkshire - £30k-£40k

A small successful brand communications agency with big ideas operating in the healthcare communications sector is looking for an Account Manager to join their team.

The Role

Central to the role will be assisting with and taking part ownership of the communications programme for each client, ranging from strategic input to day-to-day management of tactics, with responsibility of:

  • Taking responsibility for the management of the day to day delivery of projects.

  • Taking responsibility for the approval process and ensuring quality control.

  • Management of budgets associated with project delivery and keeping clients updated on project progress.

  • Actively interacting and supporting relationships with key opinion leaders.

  • Gaining a deep understanding of the various client brands the agency works with and disease areas also.



As well as being an already established Advertising Account Manager with vast experience working in healthcare advertising or a Senior Account Executive looking to take the next step in your career:

  • You should have fantastic project management and analytical skills.

  • You should have an exceptional ability to multitask and prioritise and therefore excellent time management skills.

  • You should be able to lead an engaged and well-informed team of people.

  • You should have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • You should have a good knowledge of the ABPI code of practice.
