Account Director - Independently owned, healthcare communications agency. Hampshire. £Competitive salary bonus excellent benefits.

The Company

This company is a specialist healthcare communications agency who have seen great and continued success, creating an opening for an Account Director. You will be part of a company who:

The Role

In position as Account Director, your role will be split into three key areas:

  • Responsibility for your own key accounts, building these client relationships and effectively managing projects ensuring delivery of the highest standards

  • Developing growth with existing clients and identifying opportunities for new business, including preparing and leading new business pitches

  • Responsibility for leading and inspiring your own team of Account Managers, including recruitment and training



In order to make a successful application to the Account Director role, you MUST demonstrate:

  • Substantial experience in a similar role within an agency environment

  • Successful track record of managing client accounts, on a national and international basis

  • Strong project management skills, managing strict deadlines and budgets

  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire your own team

  • Success in new business and organic existing business growth, including involvement in new business pitches
