Following companies and people of interest on LinkedIn, reading updates on MedCommsnetworking and PMLive, and catching up on relevant news on the "health" section of news websites. 

What's your favourite film and why?
I don't really watch films. Does Corrie count??

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
A chocolate-making machine that would be a normal household object to be used daily, like a toaster.

The Role

Digital Lead - Healthcare Communications Agency - Berkshire - £35K - £55K Depending on experience

 

The Company

We've been working closely with this business over the last few years, placing several people with them this year too. The feedback from the people we've introduced has been fantastic, the agency has also mentioned these candidates are working out very well and discussions around promotions are already happening. The agency is a small to medium sized, independent Medical Communications agency with lovely modern offices.

They currently run two business units and have recently hired a Head of Multichannel Communications and they're now looking for a Digital Lead to assist with growth with their digital offering. They don't focus on your typical Medical Communications projects and there is very little in the way of publication planning. They're more focused on meetings/events, video production, internal communications, and insights.

  • Vast array of therapy areas available too including Neuroscience, Rare Diseases, MS, ADHD - patient centric is a big focus for the agency along with working with closely HCP's.

The Role

  • Identifying and winning new business opportunities developed through new and existing clients

  • Lead the development of digital strategy and projects, delivered to the highest quality standards

  • Take accountability for digital client accounts and programmes

  • Accountability and ownership of technologies, ensuring clients are equipped with the best potential

  • Ownership of a structured growth plan for the digital team - working alongside the Head of Multichannel

 

You

  • First class project management skills

  • Experience managing digital activities

  • Self-starter with strong analytical and insightful

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects

  • Real passion for digital and understand it's position in a mix of channels
