Which team do you work in?
I work in the Market Research and Business Intelligence team.

Which area do you specialise in?

I specialise in senior market research roles, working with a variety of PMR agencies and consultancies. I also work with our pharma company clients, covering market insight/business intelligence positions.

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

With a well established network of clients and candidates, keeping up to date with industry news is usually quite straightforward! Alongside speaking to those directly involved in the industry, I spend time browsing relevant industry websites and reading articles on LinkedIn

What's your favourite film and why?
I would probably say either the Batman Dark Knight trilogy or the Bourne Films. I think Christopher Nolan's a great director and I really like the premise of the Bourne films - I love a good conspiracy theory!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
Maybe Bernard's Watch...?

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
This is a tough one! I'm going to go for a couple of clichéd statements - my never-say-die attitude and the fact I'm the most organised recruitment consultant you'll meet. I've a folder for everything! 


The Role

The Company

I'm recruiting on behalf of a top 20 pharma company who have been focusing on innovative medicines for over a century. Despite being a global player in the industry, the company still remains a family owned business

Focus in 3 main areas - human pharmaceuticals, biopharma contract manufacturing and animal health

Provide effective products across multiple areas including Immunology & Respiratory diseases, Oncology, CNS and Cardiometabolic diseases.


The Role

The Regional Franchise Insight Manager will provide strategic and operational support to sales and marketing teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the business planning cycle through data drive business insight creation

  • Supporting the Franchise Heads in developing regular brand performance reviews to optimise brand performance

  • Helping to implement key account management plans with sales teams

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and influencing decision making

  • Analysing market trends, manipulating data and providing overall strategic support



In order to be successful in this position, you need:

  • Experience working within an insights capacity for a pharma company or supplier

  • Previous field force or marketing experience

  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrating proficiency in Excel in particular

  • To be commercially savvy and credible in front of internal stakeholders
