If you could invent one thing what would it be?

The definitive cure to a hangover! Failing that a cure for the common cold. 

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
I spent 6 months in West Virginia, U.S. on the Camp America scheme working with children aged 7-9. This gave me an understanding of caring for others and have transferred this skill into recruitment - supporting candidates' job searches and ensuring the role is right for them!

The Company

We are working with a medium sized specialised Pharma Company that promotes a range of products within a variety of specialist therapy areas, many of which are prescribed on a 'named patient basis'. They have a highly autonomous working environment and promote an ethical and innovative sales approach with exciting projects being implemented across their portfolio.

 

The Role

As a Key Account Specialist, you will be promoting a range of products across a number of specialist therapy areas; Renal, Hepatology, Paediatrics, Haematology within the Home Counties, East Anglia, London and South East area.

  • You will adopt an account management approach across your territory and your customers will be: Secondary care, patient organisations and health service executives.

  • You will be required to work cross functionally, liaising with the sales team, marketing and medics in order to promote a highly specialist range of products within a clinically complex rare disease environment.

  • You will be required to build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across your territory with the aim of employing them for agreed promotional objectives.

 

You

  • You will be a high performing Key Account Manager that is experienced in dealing with complex clinical and funding decisions.

  • You will have a comprehensive understanding of the New NHS and be able to account plan and prioritise accordingly, setting short, medium and long term goals in line with the marketing strategy.

  • You will be collaborative and able to work within a small team and share best practise with your peers.

  • Rare disease experience is NOT COMPULSORY however experience in a niche area (such as Haematology) would be beneficial

  • You need the drive and desire to work in a specialise area for a small, unique organisation.

  • You MUST have the ABPI.
