A chocolate-making machine that would be a normal household object to be used daily, like a toaster.

The Role

As Global Publications Manager, you will work on a variety of strategic publication and scientific communication plans for products in development and marketed globally.

  • Prepare, review, revise and edit a variety of scientific documents such as abstracts, posters, papers, review articles and oral presentations.

  • Project Manage several publications activities to ensure they are of a high scientific and medical quality and meet GPP standards

  • Work collaboratively with medical and marketing functions and external medical communication subcontractors.

  • Train medical and marketing staff in ethical scientific publication practices

  • Prepare budgets and forecasts and manage the departmental and external expenditure effectively.



The ideal candidate will be a solid medical writer from pharma or agency keen to manage the scientific publication plans of products in development and marketed globally.

  • A strategic thinker who is proactive and thinks ahead with strong influencing and organisation skills

  • Ability to work cross functionally with key stakeholders at different levels and locations, particularly with affiliates in the US.

  • Strong project management experience in coordinating the production and delivery of multiple documents

  • If you are CMPP certified that would be a bonus!
