What's your favourite film and why?
I don't really watch films. Does Corrie count??

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
A chocolate-making machine that would be a normal household object to be used daily, like a toaster.

The Role

12-month contract role to join a pharma company in Surrey, to develop and lead the Oncology Communications strategy across the EMEA region. The main purpose of the role is to enhance awareness of the oncology portfolio with key external and internal stakeholders.

The Role

12-month contract role to join a pharma company in Surrey, to develop and lead the Oncology Communications strategy across the EMEA region. The main purpose of the role is to enhance awareness of the oncology portfolio with key external and internal stakeholders.

  • Develop the Oncology Communications strategy, plan and materials (including pipeline and brand press releases, Q&A's, Corporate Oncology narrative messaging, employee news)

  • Manage the media strategy for brand and pipeline communications

  • Provide effective strategic counsel to senior management

  • Develop effective communication with external parties such as PR agencies, Key External Experts / HCP's, Key oncology media and political dignitaries as requires

  • Develop effective internal relationships with senior management, legal/compliance and medical signatories, affiliate general managers, global headquarters and government affairs

 

You

A strong leader and strategic thinker with a flair for developing global corporate communication plans in the field of Oncology.

  • Global Oncology Communications experience is imperative

  • Extensive corporate communications or public relations experience

  • Evidence of developing robust Pan-EMEA PR strategies that support engagement from both internal and external stakeholders

  • An ability to engage, lead and coach both local and virtual teams.
