How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

By being in regular contact with candidates and clients within my sector and attending networking events is invaluable in staying up-to-date. Also PMLive, BBC Health and LinkedIn are key tools. Because of my background studying science I have a keen interest in staying informed and up-to-date with any advancements in the sector.

What's your favourite film and why?

Pulp Fiction! It's Tarantino at his best. Great cast, great soundtrack and a great storyline which keeps you on your toes with its intertwining arcs. It's rightfully a cult classic.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

A teleportation device. In would enable me to visit incredible locations around the world without having to deal with the hassle of long haul flights. So many amazing places to visit, so little time!

Creative Copywriter - Leading Brand Communications Agency - Berkshire/ London - £35k-£40k


The Company

A successful brand communications agency with an extensive legacy in the healthcare communications sector is looking for a Creative Copywriter to join their team.

The Role

As a Creative Copywriter you will be responsible for conveying important and at times complex messages to your audience in a creative and innovative way.

  • Working with copy, accounts, design and development teams you will produce creative, clear, concise, accurate and grammatically correct copy.

  • Aiding in the explanation of complex concepts and data to a range of audiences.

  • Management of both time and finances to adhere to deadlines and budgets.

  • Designing of content which adheres to both client and in-house expectations.

  • Ensuring the adherence of all copy to ABPI and local codes of practice/guidelines.



As well as being an immensely creative individual with a passion for healthcare communications:

  • You will hold an undergraduate degree, preferably in life sciences.

  • You will be committed to keeping up to date with new digital technologies.

  • You will have a minimum of 1 year experience as a medical writer/copywriter and proven experience writing high quality creative/medical copy.

  • You will have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

  • You will have a sound knowledge of the strict regulations in pharmaceuticals, with experience working to the ABPI and other codes of practice.
