How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Graduate Account Executive - Independent Healthcare Advertising Agency - Berkshire/London - £18k-£22k


The Company

An award winning independent advertising agency is looking for a graduate to join their team in an Account Executive role.

  • An impressive client list boasting multiple blue-chip clients.

  • Light open plan offices with multiple flexible work and meeting spaces.

  • Office is located nearby to many bars, restaurants and local shops.

  • Easily commutable from London Paddington and London Waterloo.


The Role

As Account Executive, you will be working closely with Senior Account Managers and Account Directors to support them in the successful delivery of promotional campaigns and managing accounts.

  • Working alongside account planners to devise a campaign that meets the client's brief and budget.

  • Communicating creative briefs, along with building on client relationships and contributing thoughtfully to the brand planning and creative process.

  • Managing project timelines and budgets in order to meet client expectations.

  • Providing support to line managers in their duties when required.

  • Identifying areas for potential business development and crafting pitches to win new business.



This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about joining the healthcare advertising sector.

  • You will preferably have a minimum of a first or 2:1 degree in a life science subject, advertising or communications.

  • You will have a keen eye for detail.

  • You will be gifted in verbal and written communication in order to liaise with both clients and internal colleagues.

  • You will be a driven individual who will be self-motivated to meet goals and targets.

  • You will be receptive to expanding your knowledge and learning new skills.
