Client Facing Project/Program Manager - Fast Growing Clinical Services Company - Surrey - £Competitive Salary - Permanent

Brilliant opportunity for someone with a keen interest in internal and external communication to act on key accounts for this unique and market leading business specialising in Patient Access services.

You could be from a range of backgrounds including clinical operations, account management or communications but absolutely key is your drive, ability to deal with a fast paced environment and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


The Company

This business offer services to Pharmaceutical and Biotec companies looking to maximise their product potential in both licenced and unlicensed products. Their sole aim is to give access of medicines to patients in need.

They allow their clients to deliver their medicines the right patients in an ethical and regulatory compliant manner. With three arms to their business they are truly unique in their offering; Clinical trials supplies, Unlicensed Medicines and Commercial Medicines.


The Role

This great opportunity can be based in two locations Midlands or Surrey and sits within the Unlicensed medicines team. Your role will be to develop and maintain client relationships, delivering key programmes for new and existing patient access projects.

  • You will be supporting the Programme Directors with key accounts and be responsible for assigned accounts interacting with clients at senior level to ensure and facilitate the delivery of measurable programmes
  • Mapping timeline and project plan for programme launch, participation in client meetings around scope and set up
  • Achievement of account specific budgets in line with forecast
  • Create reports on activity, performance and outcomes against contracted programme requirements/KPIs where appropriate



Paramount to this role you must have excellent communication skills. You will be expected to establish effective relationships at management levels with the client organisation dealing with multiple functional areas. We are able to consider different backgrounds. For example, Clinical Trial Coordinator, Junior Project Manager, Account Manager, Communications background, non-clinical Project Management. Please see below requirements, again please note you may have completed these to varying levels as we have different options available.

  • Experience in managing global, biopharmaceutical companies as key accounts - ideal
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness, negotiation skills and business development experience for global accounts
  • A science or business degree
  • Excellent relationship building and networking skills
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Methodical approach in driving business results
  • Good planning and project management skills
