The Role

Procurement Sourcing Officer, £35k plus up to 15% bonus benefits, Surrey

We have two exciting positions for experienced procurement sourcing professionals from the pharmaceutical sector to join a rapidly expanding pharma company based in Surrey.

The Role

As the Procurement Sourcing Officer your main responsibilities will include:

  • Finding and securing difficult to source products from new and existing wholesalers and manufacturers

  • Researching companies and negotiating contracts

  • Working closely with internal groups such as sales and customer service

  • Assessing existing portfolio

  • Visiting manufacturing sites as and when required



To be considered for the Procurement Sourcing Officer vacancy, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • A number of years procurement experience within the pharmaceutical sector as a minimum

  • Successful sourcing products from wholesalers and manufacturers and negotiating the best possible rates / contracts

  • Excellent communication skills, managing external relationships and reviewing existing contracts

  • Working cross-functionally, liaising with other internal teams

  • Experience working to extremely tight deadlines, under timescale pressures
