By speaking and meeting with candidates on a regular basis to keep up-to-date with new products and projects. 

What's your favourite film and why? 

There are too many good films to mention just one! Some noteable ones are Looking for Sugarman, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, and It's a Wonderful Life! Although these days I spend more of my time watching Disney Princess films with my daughters. 

If you could invent one thing what would it be? 

It's cliched but a cure for all child ailments.

Key Account Manager, Rare Diseases, North and South West London , £competitive

 

The Company

Our client is an innovative Global BioTech company that aims to help people with rare and life altering niche diseases to live better lives. They are entirely patient centric, and actively encourage employees to challenge the existing culture, and work in a creative manner to improve results.Due to current successes within their rare diseases team, they are currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager across the North and South West London.

 

The Role

Within this role as a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Creating awareness of the rare diseases so that more patients are successfully diagnosed and treated

  • To help customers understand and spot the symptoms of the rare diseases and know the referral pathways

  • To work within local healthcare environment to implement initiatives in support of the company's products and disease areas

  • Ability to identify, develop and fully implement an innovative solution package to solve any local issues and barriers to patient identification

 

You

  • Previous experience as a Key Account Manager within the Pharmaceutical sales environment

  • Demonstrable success in Key Account Management and achieving sales targets

  • Flexible on current therapy background, but willing to learn a new therapeutic area

  • You will ideally have Market Access experience - either dedicated position, or as part of a KAM position

  • You must have the ABPI
