If you could invent one thing what would it be?
Teleportation! I would teleport to the beach in Fiji for an hour on my lunch break, teleport back home to my parent's house for dinner every night and go elephant trekking, skiing or on safari just for the weekend.
What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
I lived in Spain for a year and worked for a summer in Gibraltar and learnt to speak Spanglish.


The Role

Oncology Account Manager - Small Business Unit in a Top 20 Global Pharma Company - South West & South Wales - £Excellent Salary & Benefits


The Company

Our client is a specialist oncology business unit, which is a part of a much larger global pharma company. They are relatively new to the UK but have grown impressively quickly and have a small, highly specialist team who are all extremely experienced and high performing. They have a vacancy to cover a long term sick leave, starting ASAP and running until December 2019 (with potential to extend beyond then).


The Role

As an Oncology Account Manager your role will involve:

  • Positioning your product in the best possible way.
  • Demonstrating excellent product, customer and market knowledge.
  • Identifying departmental and key stakeholders in the hospital environment and promoting your product to all key players.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure good coverage and a positive increase in sales, fulfilling patient needs.
  • Building advocacy and securing speaker meetings.



To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Have current experience in Oncology (solid tumours). The company will not negotiate on this.
  • Be able to understand and communicate complex clinical data easily and effectively to ensure credibility in front of customers.
  • Have a sound understanding of the UK pharma industry and the NHS so that you are able to build a strong consistent business plan and able to execute this in the field.
  • Be able to have a high level of credibility and ensure appropriate market access.
  • You must have the ABPI.
