All field based sales roles, including field based Market Access, Training and Management positions, as well as Marketing roles. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

It is essential we keep up to date with industry news. Whether that relates to any big changes within the NHS that affects the Pharma industry, or what products are coming off patent / new product launches. This can be done by reading trade journals, attending exhibitions, but more often than not is done by speaking with candidates and clients on a regular basis.

What's your favourite film and why?
I can honestly say I don't remember the last time I watched a film through in its entirety.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
The things I would love to invent is mobile phones that NEVER cut off/lose signal, regardless of location, going into a tunnel or some other completely random event. One of the most frustrating things when speaking to people is when the line just dies for no apparent reason (or they just got bored and hung up on me)!

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
Last year I trained myself to be able to hold my breath for four minutes.

The Company

Our client, established for over three decades, are a well renowned diagnostics company with a unique selling point that differentiates them from all their competitors! They have a flat structure, so this role is highly visible. There is plenty of scope for this new Key Account Manager to come into the business and make a big impact. With an uncapped commission structure and a genuinely autonomous position, this role provides an exceptional opportunity for a driven and successful Key Account Manager.

 

The Role

The role is promoting diagnostic equipment to both into labs and to clinicians in a hospital environment.You will also sell a full diagnostic service, for example, providing designs for the labs and packages for the testing equipment they require entering into long term partnerships.

The role requires someone to be diligent and constantly up to date with the market place, in order to submit successful tenders and contracts.

You will have full autonomy to manage the territory like it is your own business and see whichever key customers you see fit to drive the business forward, therefore robust and innovative account planning is expected.

  • You will ideally have diagnostics experience and strong experience in writing and submitting tenders within Healthcare.

  • You will be an ambitious, driven and focused Key Account Manager who wants to take a step forward in their career and go the extra mile (and benefit from the uncapped commission structure)!

  • You will want to be highly visible in a company and have true autonomy in your role

  • You will be someone who wants to "roll your sleeves up" and get involved in aspects of the business, as required.
