What's your favourite film and why? 

There are too many good films to mention just one! Some noteable ones are Looking for Sugarman, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, and It's a Wonderful Life! Although these days I spend more of my time watching Disney Princess films with my daughters. 

If you could invent one thing what would it be? 

It's cliched but a cure for all child ailments.

The Role

Healthcare Development Manager, Global Pharma Company, South West, Competitive Salary + Company Car or Car Allowance Option


The Job

  • This role is promoting a range of Diabetes products including a new and innovative device within Glucose Monitoring.
  • As a Regional Market Access manager you will anticipate access barriers, get preferential status, formulary inclusion and ensure optimal funding of the clients products.
  • Develop clear engagement plans with concise objectives and activities to optimise funding & access of products.
  • You will be responsible for identifying the changing needs of the payers and identify and shape multi stakeholder projects that are of interest to the payers across you territory.
  • You will implement a strategy and deliver on "Value Proposition" for your customers and will work collaboratively with the field sales team across your territory.
  • Your territory will be - Gloucestershire, Dorset, Bristol, Hants, Devon, Wilts, Cornwall, Somerset, Worcestershire.



  • You will be a high performing candidate with a strong market access background.
  • Exceptional planning skills on a local and regional level, you will have a complete understanding of the prescribing process and the principles of strategic account management looking at both immediate and long terms objectives.
  • Regularly track the implementation, execution and impact of activities and performance of key accounts
  • You will have strong business management and be able to formulate account plans and be able to demonstrate when you have work with Payers, CCG's, Medicines Management and other external influencers.
  • Will have Knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including local payer and provider environment and healthcare funding flows
  • You will be able to demonstrate consistent success throughout your career and be able to illustrate when you have identifihumbeed and built relationships at a local and regional level
  • You will have a positive outlook and thrive in an autonomous environment.
