How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

It is essential we keep up to date with industry news. Whether that relates to any big changes within the NHS that affects the Pharma industry, or what products are coming off patent / new product launches. This can be done by reading trade journals, attending exhibitions, but more often than not is done by speaking with candidates and clients on a regular basis.

What's your favourite film and why?
I can honestly say I don't remember the last time I watched a film through in its entirety.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
The things I would love to invent is mobile phones that NEVER cut off/lose signal, regardless of location, going into a tunnel or some other completely random event. One of the most frustrating things when speaking to people is when the line just dies for no apparent reason (or they just got bored and hung up on me)!

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
Last year I trained myself to be able to hold my breath for four minutes. 


The Role

2nd Line Regional Business Manager | New Product Launch | Medium Sized Pharma Company | South West, West Midlands & South Central


The Company

Our client is a nationwide, medium sized Pharma company that have a series of market leading products covering a variety of therapeutic areas including Cardio and Oncology. Due to a new product LAUNCH, they are currently looking for a talented and experienced 2nd Line Regional Business Manager to help with this launch across the Cardiovascular therapy area.

The product is a fantastic development to a highly competitive marketplace that is going to drive forward the Cardiovascular therapy area, and this is an opportunity to get in as the product hits the market and make a true impact, growing your team as the product succeeds!


The Role

  • Continue the launch phase of a new Cardiovascular product, and be involved in shaping the strategy and leading the team of 9 Managers (plus sales force).

  • Manage a growing team of Key Account Managers, and Market Access Consultants

  • Guide and develop a team of KAM's, and be involved in recruiting and training the team long term

  • Raise awareness and increase business within the Cardiovascular division

  • Have the ability to structure and develop your account plan and execute this plan autonomously



Within this Regional Business Manager role, it is expected that you will have previous experience:

  • Working as a National Sales Manager or Business Unit Manager, leading a team of Key Account Managers or Market Access Consultants

  • You will be working in a fast paced and dynamic environment where decisions are made quickly and efficiently.

  • This role is reporting into the GM and has complete autonomy while also supporting the leadership team

  • You will be a hardworking and tenacious 2nd line management with P&L responsibility.

  • A strong and inspirational manager ideally wit Product Launch experience.
