Our Surrey based client is a vibrant healthcare communications agency. They are currently on the look out for a Project Executive, with a scientific background and ideally some project coordination experience within a healthcare/pharma setting. The role will involve managing a range of Medical Communications projects to communicate a compelling scientific message.

The Role

This Project Executive role will provide the ideal candidate wit the opportunity to become a rounded medical communications professional. The role will involve managing a range of Medical Communications projects to communicate a compelling scientific message. The role will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Working within project teams, supporting and learning from Project Managers and Project Directors.
  • Working across a diverse range of Medical Communications projects in a variety of therapy areas.
  • Taking ownership in everything you do and steadily increasing the amount of responsibility you have for your own projects.



To apply for this role as a Medical Communications Project Executive, our client was hoping for applicant with the following skills and experiences.

  • A life sciences background.
  • Some pharma industry or medical communications in a project related position.
  • An understanding of and fascination with medical science.
  • An understanding of the working commercial environment and the drive to get excellent quality work completed.
  • The communications skills to deal with pharmaceutical company clients, healthcare professionals and our suppliers efficiently and effectively.

Which area do you specialise in?

I specialise in attracting and resourcing high calibre candidates for junior level Medical Communications and Medical Education teams.

On the Client Services side I work across: Account Executive jobs, Project Executive jobs, Senior Account Executive jobs and Account Manager positions.

I keep up-to-date using groups on LinkedIn and by keeping in regular contact with people currently working in the industry. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I love films, so there's far too many to choose from! If I had to pick one it would probably be the Harry Potter series. 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd invent a machine that made me a coffee as soon as I woke up - that would make getting out of bed much easier!
