The Role

Technician - Medical Device Company - Greater Manchester - £Competitive

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Technician for a Medical Device company as they bring their innovative biomaterials products through clinical trials to manufacturing.

The Role

Working as a technician, you will be responsible for the laboratory equipment at their site. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting up and maintaining the laboratory environment
  • Analysing and interpreting results and producing reports, as well as monitoring technical standards
  • Maintaining equipment and materials including instrumentation, glassware and consumables
  • Ensuring that the regular servicing and repair of laboratory equipment/apparatus takes place
  • Ordering required materials and chemicals and keeping a record of stock and consumables



You will be self-motivated individual who enjoys working both collaboratively and independently:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant technical or scientific role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • IT experience including the use of word-processing, spreadsheets and databases
  • Very good time-management, organisational and communication skills
