Speaking to candidates and clients on a daily basis allows me to keep up-to-date with changes and news in my industry. I also find LinkedIn groups and professional journals are invaluable for keeping on top of industry topics. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Tim Burton's Big Fish has to be my go-to film of choice. An over the top, fantastical and emotional story of epic proportions full of weird and quirky touches...escapism at it's finest!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

If I could invent one thing it would be to make the Replicator from Star Trek a reality - I love food but hate cooking after a busy day in the office so this would be ideal!

Having studied art I like to think I look at things with a creative twist and have the ability to look beyond the obvious. This is helpful when it comes to guiding and advising candidates and clients to overcome potential problems and arrive at the best conclusion for all.

The Role

As a Medical Officer you will use your medical expertise to advise and inform the team to ensure that all study activities are carried out following strict protocols and with patient safety in mind. You will be joining a close-knit and supportive team of like-minded experts to bring new and ground-breaking therapies to life.

  • Working closely with clients, internal teams and external bodies to advise and inform on all medical matters

  • Contributing to study protocols and study documents, carrying out safety reporting and ensuring all study documentation is accurate

  • Participate in all study activities to assist teams to win business and to successfully achieve project goals and timelines

 

About You

To be successful for this Medical Officer opportunity you should be an experienced Medical Physician with a strong foundation of Clinical Research experience. You will be accustomed to working within the clinical trial safety review process, medical terminology and specific regulatory requirements.

  • Specific Oncology would be a real advantage but not essential

  • Experience gained as a practicing Medical Doctor

  • Clinical trials experience
