The Role

This is a Medical Writer role within a Healthcare Communications agency operating a very flexible working model where all their staff work remotely. This is a genuine opportunity for you to be 100% home based! 

They are involved in Med Ed accounts including digital, varied deliverables, PR accounts, TA is Oncology and smaller accounts

The Role

We are looking for experienced Medical Writers who will be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership and responsibility for development and final delivery of scientifically accurate content aligned with Client objectives, budgetary and schedule requirements.
  • Lead assigned projects/groups of projects as required
  • Prepare copy for a broad range of medical communication projects that meet the agency standard
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients and external thought leaders



The successful Senior Medical Writer will be a competent self-starter, able to work autonomously, and therefore you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Medical Writer with a medical communications agency environment is essential
  • PhD or Masters degree as a minimum
  • The ability to work independently to strict deadlines
  • Experience maintain awareness of therapeutic area, competitors, new products and new indications for relevant accounts
  • Proven ability to successfully work from home is desirable
