I work as part of the Market Acces, HEOR and Value Comms team at Carrot Pharma Recruitment.

I cover all Junior to Mid-Level roles within my sector.

What's your favourite film and why?

Tough decision between Prisoners and No Country For Old Men - both are excellent films but No Country wins based on intensity and number of times I've watched it.

The Role

Principal Consultant (Clinical Outcomes / Patient Centered Outcomes) - Home based - £80,000 - £100,000 Benefits Per Annum.

My Client

My client is a leading Global CRO with a strong reputation and name in the industry that work across all areas of Clinical Research, HEOR & Market Access. Due to growth within the department they are looking to appoint a Patient Centred and Clinical Outcomes Consultant at Principal / Senior Principal Level. You will have a focus on the day aspects of the role, but, also have a great opportunity to get involved in the overall strategy & development of the team. They consider candidates at any level up from Senior to Lead or at Principal level, so if you are currently working at this level but would like a chance to gain more responsibility & flexibility in your role then please read on..

I am looking for candidates with the following skills & background.

  • Significant academic or industry experience in quantitative methods for instrument development/validation, including experience of writing study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and study reports.
  • Ability to coach/mentor junior staff in the application of quantitative/psychometric methods
  • Experience of the use and application of statistical software packages such as SAS, R, Stata
  • Ability to act as PCO functional lead in cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience of leading research studies and directing project teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and scientific writing skills, as demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications, technical reports, or other scholarly work
  • Ability to manage own workload with respect to project scope, timelines and qualities
