Teleportation! I would teleport to the beach in Fiji for an hour on my lunch break, teleport back home to my parent's house for dinner every night and go elephant trekking, skiing or on safari just for the weekend.

I lived in Spain for a year and worked for a summer in Gibraltar and learnt to speak Spanglish.


The Role

UK Sales Representative - Worldwide Manufacturer of Components and Systems for the Medical and Pharmaceutical industry - National Role - Competitive Salary and Financial Package


The Company

Founded in 2004 our new client has grown to become a hugely successful company, employing over 300 people across 14 countries. They specialise in the manufacturer of components and systems for the medical and pharmaceutical industries.


The Role

The UK market is highly competitive and our client requires a Sales Representative to drive sales growth throughout the region. Your primary functions will be to manage and build sales from the existing customer base, while identifying and acquiring new business through the identification of previously untapped sources. Customers are predominately based in the medical device and pharma sectors.

Deals will vary in complexity and cost, from a simple order for a quantity of extruded product worth a few thousand Euros to complete solutions worth in excess of a million Euros.

You will engage with clients across all professional levels from CEO and Senior Management through to Technical and Quality Management as well as Procurement.

To support your external sales activities and develop your network you will also be encouraged to attend and speak at relevant technical conferences, forums and exhibitions.



You will be a degree qualified, professional, technical B2B sales person, ideally selling into the medical device or pharmaceutical industry for a minimum of 3 -5 years. Alternatively, you may be a sales professional from within the Automotive or Electronic sectors, used to working on complex deals involving cutting edge technologies.

Ideally you will have an understanding of the different characteristics of plastics, its different uses within the medical and pharma fields, along with knowledge of processing plastics, injection moulding and extrusion. It is essential that you can demonstrate, through past performance, the necessary drive, determination and ambition to be successful in the role.

A demonstrable track record of sales achievement throughout your career, showing deal values in the ranges described above. As the position is home based, covering the entire UK, you will be self-motivated with superb time management and organisational skills. You will be happy to travel extensively and to stay away from home as necessary.
