Principal Medical Writer - Industry Leading, Independent Med Comms Agency - Manchester, London or Remote - Competitive DoE

This well known, highly respected, independent, medical communications agency is in need of a Principal Medical Writer to join their team due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work. This agency is well known for being highly scientific, whilst still having a vibrant atmosphere and a fantastic sociable company culture.

The Role

This role would involve working for one of the companies smaller, close knit internal sub-agencies, working on a large global oncology account. As a Principal Medical Writer, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering on a variety of projects, primarily on the commercial side, including med affairs, digital, live and virtual events, strategic planning and gap analysis.
  • Maximise every opportunity to expand this large oncology account.
  • Comfortable being the main scientific contact within the agency
  • Communication clearly and effectively with your team
  • Line manage and support more junior team members

 

You

To be considered for this Principal Medical Writer vacancy you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Extensive medical communications agency experience, either already working at Principal level, or a Senior Medical Writer ready to take the next step.
  • Experience working on oncology accounts
  • Experience reviewing/ quality checking work
  • Confident overseeing and managing more junior team members
  • Life sciences degree as a minimum
