All field based sales roles, including field based Market Access, Training and Management positions, as well as Marketing roles. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

It is essential we keep up to date with industry news. Whether that relates to any big changes within the NHS that affects the Pharma industry, or what products are coming off patent / new product launches. This can be done by reading trade journals, attending exhibitions, but more often than not is done by speaking with candidates and clients on a regular basis.

What's your favourite film and why?
I can honestly say I don't remember the last time I watched a film through in its entirety.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
The things I would love to invent is mobile phones that NEVER cut off/lose signal, regardless of location, going into a tunnel or some other completely random event. One of the most frustrating things when speaking to people is when the line just dies for no apparent reason (or they just got bored and hung up on me)!

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
Last year I trained myself to be able to hold my breath for four minutes.

The Company

Our client is a global BioPharma Company that has a fantastic reputation of developing innovative products within some of the worlds more challenging therapy areas. They have a culture of innovation and patient centricity and are now seeking a Business Lead (NSM) to head up their Immunology team.

 

The Role

  • As a Sales Manager, you will manage, support and develop a highly skilled team of 5 Key Account Managers within Immunology.
  • 3 products within the portfolio have been launched in the last 6 months therefore you will shape and implement the post launch activity. There is another new product to be launched in Q1 2019 - a very busy and exciting business unit!!!
  • You will define and segment your business plans and collaborate cross functionally with Franchise Heads to drive the strategy and ensure key objectives are met.
  • You will manage the team and demonstrate strong leadership skills to drive sales, identify challenges and adopt new strategies to overcome objections.

 

You

  • You MUST have strong management experience working within the UK Pharma Industry.
  • You will be experienced in dealing with complex challenges around specialised commissioning and be fully verse with the key principles of Key Account Management.
  • You will have gravitas and kudos with excellent influencing skills.
  • You will have a proven record of accomplishment in sales management, delivering first class service and generating healthy revenue for your business / franchise.
  • This role is a national therefore location is flexible however, the head office is based in the South East (circa 2 days per week in HQ).
  • You MUST have the ABPI to be considered for this role.
