The Role

Head of Field Market Access, Medium global pharma company, National role, £competitive

 

The Company

This role is working for a medium sized global pharmaceutical company with a fantastic product portfolio and a strong pipeline. They are currently looking for a creative and results driven Head of Market Access to lead their current successful field based market access team and work on market access strategy for an existing portfolio and new product launch.

 

The Role

  • You will be responsible for the day to day management and performance of the field-based market access team.
  • You will set and agree the in-field strategy with the relevant stakeholders; leading and developing the market access field team to drive execution of the strategy, resulting in optimal market access for the portfolio at local level.
  • You will work closely with the head office market access team to ensure seamless transition and pull through of market access strategy from national to local and vice-versa.
  • You will work on a brand-new launch for 2021 and also improve access to the existing portfolio which includes products for primary care and specialist secondary care across two different therapy areas.
  • You will prepare and manage an annual budget with adequate tracking and controls in place to ensure return on investment from spends.

 

You

  • To be considered for this role, you must have excellent current people management experience.
  • You must also have significant market access experience, ideally national and ideally at launch phase.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant NHS structure and processes.
  • You will ideally be based in the South East/South Central so you are close to head office.
  • You must have the ABPI.
