The Role

Business Development Manager, £30k-50k depending on experience plus commission and benefits, Luton based head office, however can be UK wide as role is field based.

Due to recent expansion, this established Regulatory Affairs Consultancy requires a Business Development Manager to play a key role in their ongoing success and growth.

The Company

  • Servicing the pharmaceutical, healthcare and medical device sectors

  • Specialising in Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and Batch Release services

  • Close knit team within a privately-owned company


The Role

This is a brand new role within the company and as Business Development Manager, you will take control of the growth of the business and be responsible for:

  • Industry research and developing client target lists

  • Booking and attending face to face meetings, including presenting where required

  • Negotiating pricing structures and closing deals

  • Keeping close relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for new business

  • You will be out in the field, meeting existing and potential clients in person, therefore you don't need to be based in Luton



We are looking for a successful Business Development Manager with experience in the below areas:

  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes from a sales and pricing structure perspective is essential

  • Successful sales track record meeting targets and KPIs

  • Selling face to face and presenting

  • Knowledge of regulatory affairs processes is advantageous

  • Confident, self-starter who can hit the ground running with little training

  • Only candidates experienced in selling pharmacovigilance services, or those who have a pharmacovigilance background plus pharma industry business development experience can be considered.
